blocktools CLI

Identify an unknown wallet file

blocktools example: not sure what a file is? classify names it, and recipes/recover.sh picks the pipeline for you.

Input

Any wallet file in ./in (here btcrecover's old-client wallet.dat). Put the file in ./in/ and its password in ./secrets/. Never put a real wallet on a networked machine.

Run

./blocktools run 'classify /in/old-client-wallet.dat'
recipes/recover.sh FILE - --goal addresses

CI expects in the output

  • "class":"wallet_dat"
