Celestia (TIA) address validator
Address checking only. Paste a Celestia address to check its checksum and format and see which address type it is. Below: how TIA addresses are built, an example, and the chains it can be confused with.
What this page does: Address checking only: SwapChan validates the format and tells you which address type it is. It does not hold funds, sign transactions or recover wallets for this chain.
TIA address format
- bech32 with the celestia prefix
- A 20-byte account hash (RIPEMD-160 of SHA-256 of the public key) in bech32 with the human-readable part celestia (celestia1โฆ). Other Cosmos SDK chains use the same hash with their own prefix, so one key has a different address on each chain.

Good to know
TIA amounts use 6 decimal places: 1 TIA = 10^6 base units.
Its SLIP-44 coin type is 118, so BIP-44 style wallets derive it under m/44'/118'/โฆ.
This page checks address formats only. It never asks for a private key or seed phrase. Want to know if an address still holds funds? Try find money (coverage is listed there). Lost the wallet app? See the recovery guides.
